Pigs eat snakes! Evidently, New York's rattlesnake population was decimated after the founding colonists let their pigs roam free. Apparently, the fangs of the rattlesnake are not thick enough to penetrate a pig's hide (I'm assuming a full-grown pig...I assume a piglet may be vulnerable).
