I found the cutest lovebird for sale with cage for $125. I am considering buying it, but I wonder if it will bond to a new owner. It is 1 and a half years old. Only problem, is that it bites at kids and absolutely adores it's owner. Will this small bird ever bond with a new owner?

with time and patience anything is possible.
I have a rescued macaw that was 'biting wild', and with a wee bit TLC and lotsa patience he is now my bestest friend.
another bird i 'owned' was an african grey (aviary bred) and this bird was 5 years old when i found him, after four months and sometimes the odd part of my fingers and thumbs he came round and after a bout of heavy socialising i was able to rehome a cute cuddly buddy parrot called 'Max'.
the chief thing to remember os that you will get out of the deal what you put into it.
best of luck
ali.
