Wanted some advice, on two things, one i have been reading a lot about diatom filters, are they really as great as what i have read, are they to be used as a continues filter, or just to polish the water and then remove them and store till the next time the water needs polishing?
2nd i would love to get a huge display tank, problem is i live in a 2nd floor apt, and i was estimating aproximately around 1700 - 2000lbs for the tank/stand/gravle etc, and am not sure if thats too much i do understand that respectively a human being has more pressure per square inch on the floor rather than the large base of a tank does, but however a person isnt standing in teh same spot 24/7 lol, does anyone have a set up like this in an apt or any suggestions?
