My no tailed cat cat is at the vet with what they are saying is an enlarged colon( for some reason, they wont let me put the breed name!.) He says its a common problem with that breed. I never heard of it, anyone else have this problem?

I've never had this problem with any of my cats, but here are some websites that may be of some use to you.
Megacolon in Cats (http://www.vetinfo.com/cmegacol.html)
Constipation and your Cat (http://www.cah.com/dr_library/felconstip.html)

Also, I'm guessing your cat is a M a n x? The word filter seems to block any word that contains N X....

That is wierd, I wonder why it does that, I always thought it was wierd that the person who has a cat named named Bi, always went B I N X.

It's because they filter out the website w w w dot guinea l y n x dot info (they think you are promoting it or something stupid). It's crazy that they would filter out anything with n and x in it, they should really change that. :S

Thanks for the websites, Nell, they gave my some useful info. And thanks for the tip on writing m a n x!

megacolon is common in older and constipated cats. It's hard to treat.

George is only 4. It is apparently a problem with male M a n x's. He will probably need an operation, if the other therapy doesnt work. I'll keep you updated.
