Getting Along...

My cat Cleo has always been standoff-ish, even more so after we got our kitten, Felix, about 3 months ago... :guilty:

Cleo is constantly miserable, she hisses at Felix every chance she gets. Felix on the other hand, adores Cleo and just wants to get close to her. She tolerates him but I have seen her go at him with a paw-full of claws a few times!

Felix isn't all that innocent either. He chases her around the house and follows her EVERYWHERE she goes! I'm just worried about Felix getting lonely during the day seeing as I am at school and my parents are at work... :worried:

The only place Cleo can can escape is when she is outside. I'm worried about Cleo running away from home... :bawling:

Does anyone know what I can do to help these two get along? Does anyone have any similar experiences?

The older cat may never come to like the younger cat. If you can at least get them to live peacefully together, then that is progress.
