I have a chinese fire bellied newt, about how much gallons should the tank be able to hold, & what type of land is best recommended/suited for them? (ex: land, gravel)

You could probably have 3 - 5 in a 10 gallon tank. Just maks sure to have excellent filters. As for land, some driftwood and a rock or two sticking out of the water is all you need. Firebelly newts spend like 90% of their time in water.

acctually you don't realy need filters in your newt tank if you don't want them. i have a 15 gallon tank w/ 2 different newts of different species and a fire belly toad and no filter and they are quite well. just make sure that you clean the tank regularly.

hmmm... mine are mud and brooke, both females, and are kinda genaric being water related names. just take a good look at them and how they act and the name will just come to you. :)
