A friend wanted me to take care of her cat for a few days. Within a few hours it jumped off a 3rd story balcony to the ground. Took me forever to catch the damn thing. Luckily it wasn't hurt...just scared.

Well...cats can survive long jumps yes...the little twirly thing they do in the air so they land on their feet and all...

Scared cats can be hard to catch. I had to set a live trap to catch MY OWN stupid cat when he escaped and was hiding in my neighbors garage. He would meow at me, but not show his face. You are lucky you caught your freinds cat.
