I bought some Frontline for my cat, instead of Advantage for some reason. It doesn't seem to be working as well, since I just combed about 15 fleas off Punkin (who still looks uncomfortable :( poor kitty...)I applied it about 13 hours ago, how long does it take to kick in? Or does Advantage just work better? What do you guys think?

i personally prefer advantage but to my understanding it takes up for 24 hours for frontline to take effect.
did you pick up the right dosage?

I like advantage. If the cat already has fleas, then you have to use it for atleast 3 months. Vacuum your carpets REALLY well. I've heard of people buying a flea collar and putting it in the vacuum bag...and then vacuuming. Almost everyday. You can buy something called "Siphotrol" This really works on carpets, and furniture and you don't have to evacuate your house either! Vacuum, Spray, wait, Vacuum.

Then remember to always prevent. It's easier and cheaper to prevent then it is to treat. If you use Advantage to prevent this works awesome, because the flea jumps on, rubs against the hairs and then voila! the flea is dead...had no time to reproduce or bite
