Does anybody know? Im not going to give mine any I was just wondering. Its one of those things everyone knows not to do it but never know why. (do you understand what i am saying???)

Not 100% sure, but I think it's because of an enzyme in potatoes that is poisonous, but it gets killed because of the heat when the potato is cooked. Apparently it's bad for people to eat them raw as well, not that anyone would want to!

I have ate potatos raw before not on accident either. I just remembered that they said not to feed them to rats and hammies and I knew that I had eaten raw taters and I was wondering if since they are harmful to them they could be harmful to us. thanks bunches.
