Can you really train a snake? To do tricks that is besides sleep with your eyes open, eat, bite, slither, hiss, and coil around my arm? I just got curious if that can really happen.

I'm sure it's possible but it would probably cause mass stress/abuse to actually train a snake to do something such as stand up like a cobra, coil at cue, play dead, rollover, or do backflips... Not worth what the snake will haev to go through and most likely your snake would just bite you more in fear of you and/or become sick. I dno't recommend trying. Snakes are fine as they are. Let them live their lifes in as much happiness as you can provide them.

Reptiles do not possess the brain power to learn things like that. They can become used to routines, such as daily handling etc, and they can learn your scent, but they never really associate it with things. A lady tried to teach her lizard not to bite by flicking it's head every time it did, which then only made it MORE aggressive because it was being attacked. Reptiles cannot be "trained." Some of them respond to certain stimuli (like cobras rising and "dancing", it's actually the flute player tapping his feet) but they are not trainable.
