my black bear hamster had 11 babies on friday and i was wonder if she would kill them because there are to many because i read something like that before

plus any info on raising them welcomed

theres always that possibility that she will eat them. Just give feed her the proper diet and keep her in a quiet room and dont touch the babies and it should be alright. Did you get her and she was pregnant or did you house her with a male? As for raisng them she should do just fine on her own and make sure you find the babies good homes because you will need @ least 12 cages for all the hammies and thats all of responsibility. 11 new water bottles, way more food, new cages, and bedding, wheels and toys that can cost up to 200 bucks .

my hamster gave birth to 14 wonderful babies and they all lived without her attacking her... just make sure she eats and drinks ALOT of healthy stuff and make sure not to disturb the nest in the beginning too much and you should do just fine.
