Update!!!

I think she is going into labor she is sleeping and breathing heavily! :D Usually when I go near the cage she comes out to see me but now she is just sittin there. What do you think? I want to watch her but not all night. Will she give birth in the nest or all over the place? Thanks

Im pretty sure that she will make a nest(if she doesnt have one already) and then give birth in it. DONT TOUCH THE BABIES! I think you cant touch them for like 14 days or something like that... someone else please reply.
Move her food and water closer to her cause the least she needs is more stress by having to go get food.

why are you breeding hamsters?

dont touch the babies or the nest (or the mom during labor).
make sure to provide a lot of protein rich foods while she is nursing.

Yea I hope today is 30 days, 30 days!! Right now she is running around on her wheel and not biting be and pretty much acting normal, still fat tho. Thi sis confusing LOL!

Update!! LOL..............OK she is sleeping alot now and eating moved her nest a little i added some tissues for her. I think she moved her nest because it was full of poop and she didn't want the babies to live there,LOL. I think tonight might be the night! Not to sure tho.

Sorry bc we have a ton of pet stores around here but only Petco sells hamsters and I already have people who will want them. I am not even gunn go near the cage untill tommorow morning. So far the foods I gave her in the past 6 days are pasta, sunflower seeds, clover,dog food, honey,milk, wheat bread, and bread with milk. I think she has had enough protien for the babies! Oh yea and fruit treats with her reg. diet. Sound like enough.........too much?

Yea well lets say she was 3 inches before(width) Now she is 4 1/2. Now what do you think? lol It is closer to 4 tho a lil over probally. That is not her real size lol

Dwarf hamster pregnancies usually last 18-21 days. Howeever they can also delay implantation, which means she could have saved the eggs awhile until she felt ready for pregnancy. There are also pseudo (false) pregnancies where she will have all the signs but not be pregnant. Good Luck, the babies could be coming any day, especially if getting heavier. That normally happens when she is about to give birth. By any chance can you see any teats (red bumps) on the under side of her?

Normally No you cant see them, unless they have had a previous liter, or when they are babies.

There are four pairs of teats along each side of her belly. My Sunny had babies, and I could see them all. But every hamster is different. Could you see them when she was smaller? Here is a pic of my Sunny although a Syrian it shows the teats. This was a day before she gave birth.

The longest I have heard of a dwarf holding her eggs was 26 days, so anything is possible. :D Others here may have heard longer, or less; so hopefully someone else can give some input.

On the forum Hamster Colors on the 11th post go on that website and click back and she looks like the opal prego hammy! I meen her size altho her body isn't that long and that is a lil bigger than her. She might be only have a few babies could that make her not look as big because she could be holding only a few babies?
