Hi.

I'm looking for someone that can take good care of my hamster. I have a great cage for him with all the toys. Because of my long hours at work, I will not be able to take as good care of him as I can. It's not fair to him.

I am looking to sell the cage, ball, hamster play pen fence, small carrier, bedding, food, treats, etc... for $50.

Beans, The Hamster
He is a dwarf hamster. He's very active and loves to nibble - even at me! I just got him about 3 months ago ~ mid March to be more specific. Petco didn't give me an exact time of when he was born, but I'm assuming he was at least 2 months old by the time I got him.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! I'm looking for a good home for my baby.

By the way, I live in New York City. If you live in the area, I can come meet you or you can just come by my apt. Also, I prefer not to ship as I'm not too sure how animals are treated in shipment. I'm not sure if anyone on this board has experience with shipping animals before?

Thanks!

Your photos don't work:

You may wish to lower that $50 price a little, but not too much as you do want SERIOUS people who will give a loving home.

I have no room whatsoever currently, but this is worth a bump.

Good luck.

Hi Zouave,

Thanks for the update. The hamster is actually free for adoption. I'm selling the rest of his materials at $50, which is actually very reasonable, as I have a lot of extra goodies not mentioned above in my original posting.

Did you ever find a home for your lil one? I would take him. I live approx 10-15 min north of the BX.

Where about in nyc? I already have a blk bear hammy that I got for my daughter almost a year ago and would love to get another, sounds like a good deal with everything included. If you live close to the bro let me know and we can take it from there.

I'm in downtown manhattan. However - I believe that dwarf hamsters should not be put together with any other hamsters as dwarf hamsters are very territorial and live better alone. Anybody else have input on this?

I wouldnt house them together for the simple fact that I have a syrian hamster and I know for a fact they are solitary animals. The little one would be very well taken care of by my kids and myself. I'm not too familiar with manhattan but I would be willing to meet you somewhere around on of the metro-north stops. Feel free to call me@ 1914-813-0385. ;)
