Hi there! I don't (currently) have gerbils, but would love to have them, just not right now. My main reason for joining this forum is because I'm studing to be a vet tech and will be specialising in small animals (rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, sugar gliders, ferrets, bunnies.. ect. ) I have mice, rats and guinea pigs currently and feel that even though small animals have short life spans, they deserve the same quality vet care as a cat or dog. I've also found that the best way to learn about an animal is by asking people who have that animal. I'm also putting together numerous care pamphlets for various animals. I have (finally) compleated my care pamphlet for guinea pigs (<a href="http://www.geocities.com/ninathemouse/guineapigs"> here </a>) and will be starting a rat care pamphlet soon. I'm looking for basic info for gerbils like food, caging, bedding, care, treats, training, toys and special intructions. if you could help by answering these questions, that would be great! also, if you would like, please DL or copy paste the guinea pig care sheet and distibute to any pet stores/ humane associations/ shelters that will take them! Thanks
Nina
