Hey Sonic I am almost positive your hamster is platinum which would be SiSi. It may be mottled too, but the only positive way to check to see if mottled is to use a pen light and shine through eyes to see if you see any redness. If a platinum has red eyes is is difficult to check to see if mottled. Aww, you all have such adorable hamsters. Thanks for sharing the pics!

padfoot looks like a chocolate tort but since he's starting to grow his adult coat he just looks like a young, different looking, teddybear hamster.

Cammie, his eyes r pure black & he has black ears & nose. Does that help any w/ determining his color? I thought platinums where pure white? He has a little brown in his fur. I looked on all the websites I know of & I couldn't find anything like him.

My hamster has a truely unique coloring. He was born of a teddy bear and a panda bear so he is crossbread. When I first got him he looked just like a normal panda bear hamster but now the teddy is coming out in him and he has the panda bear pattern and brown hairs are coming in. Its really cool like if you hold him a certain way with light on him you can see the brown but otherwise you usually cant. I guess the change is seasonal or something like that. Ill try to get some pictures but it is really hard to capture the brown on picture.
