How can you tell what type of hamster you have? Mine are very small and fluffy, but I don't know if they are dwarfs or just not done growing. When do they start growing anyway? If you know anything about hamsters, please respond to my other question too: I need some advice!!

One is light brown and the other is creme colored. They are small (about 10 cm) but I don't know if this is because they are dwarfs or just not done growing. I don't think their feet are furry.

Their hair is pretty long and fluffy. I know I have one boy and one girl. I did that on purpose because I want they to have babies. I just really need to know what type they are in case she does have babies. I've been told that the males and females can stay together if they are dwarfs. But if they are Syrain, I need to seperate them because they will fight a lot. They seem to get along pretty well. They sleep together and cuddle and eat together. Does this mean they are not Syrains?

if they're young syrians then they'll get along at first then they'll kill each other:agree:
also by the sounds of things you haven't studied hamsters AT ALL!!! if you don't study hamsters you can't know what to do. i mean you want to breed without knowing what type it is!!:kaioken::mad::splat:

usually dwarfs are grey and white or just white so if they are not those colors then they are not dwarfs.

There are hairy-footed dwarves, Campbells, and striped that I know of.
Here's a picture of a dwarf:

That's not a Chinese - it's a Winter White.
Sounds like the hamsters you have are longhaird Syrians and need to be seperated IMMEDIATLY.
