Good News; Bad News.

The first hamster that we got just died last night. We had a proper burial for her out in the woods behind our house. We even made a little cross to put on the grave.

In happier news, we also just got a new hamster. He doesn't have a name yet, but we're thinking about naming him Huma after a legendary hero in a series of books called "The Dragonlance Chronicles." He's our first teddy bear hamster. All of our others are dwarf hamsters. He's taking to his new home very well, which I'm very happy about.

Sorry about your loss... Have you named your new hamster yet? I am sure your passed hamster is happy you are sharing its toys with a new ham! I bet it is on the rainbow bridge bragging about its owner..

I'm sorry about your hamster, my first hamster died last year, around this time, and I have a new hamster now, he's a dwarf(the first was a Syrian) and he gets along well now. I'm now afraid he'll die, cause well..I don't wanna loose him, right?the first one I had died when he was about 6 months old. -.- now I'm sad..ah well, I'll cheer up. I hope your hamster will adjust well, and I hope you will too!
