Info on gerbils please

Hi,

I have recently bought a male and female gerbil. They had 6 pups but only 4 survived. When do their eyes open?

I would be very happy if anyone can give me some information or tips on gerbils, as I dont know too much about them.

Gerbils normally open their eyes around 3 to 4 weeks old. An excellent reference for all your gerbil questions is the American Gerbil Society at "http://www.agsgerbils.org." Eyes open 17 to 18 days.
Learn to eat solids at 3 weeks. Can be taken from parents into single sex groups at 6 weeks. Can be sold at 7 to 8 weeks.
