Why do hamsters do this? When you pet their back they just sit there and dont move at all. Please reply.

That usually means they are in heat or scared

btw, panda bears and teddy bears are the same type of hamster (Syrian) just different coat colors.

yes if your hamster is female she is most likely in heat! :)

if it is a male, then you either found an "itchy" place, or your scaring him badly. Though if he doesn't turn to bite, or run away, I'm assuming you just found a spot he likes to be scratched in!

Haha okay cause he just sits there like he is really comfortable. When I stop he comes to my hand like he wants me to keep petting him. He is so sweet.
