Hi!
There used to be a "pooper scooper" for use in keeping a bird cage clean! It was red plastic and unlike a "kitty scoop", it was a mesh grid, not slots! Can anyone direct me to a place of "purchase"?
Thank you....

You should only need two products. The primary one is PoopOff and the secondary one is LuvMyBirdie "Birdie Litter"
PoopOff will literally disolve the poop right off of just about anything. Birdie Litter is a great 100% bird safe and natural cage bottom litter which absorbs all bird waste very efficiently. They both can be purchased at our online store at http://www.petbirds-exotic.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv

Hi Treasured Friends!
You are so very kind to reply and I went to your "suggested" site! Now, I have to "come clean" so to say...I was looking for the "scoop" because it is perfect for the clumping kitty litter!
Thank you so much for your time...
Sincerely, Debbi

Debbie,
I do not carry the Kittie Litter only the Birdie Litter but here are a couple of links to check out. The first one is some of the disadvantages of traditional cat litter and the second one is for the makers of the Kittie Litter product. Just some information to pass along, for what it is worth.

Hi Treasured Friends!
Again, Thank You for the above sites! I've saved both of them should a problem develop with our little former stray! She's only known the clumping and hasn't so far had any reaction...but now that I know (thanX to YOU) there is "room for concern" - I will monitor her and the litter for any bad signs!
Now, If only I could find that red plastic "mesh" type scoop! - I've already an idea how to create my own and have bought the "stuff", now to just do it!
Have a nice evening!
Debbi

Hello Debbi,
Pooper scooper... i am not sure if what you mean is what i think referring to. But can the scooper for hamsters work for you?
I have a hamster and am using the pooper scooper for it. It is also red plastic, just like what you are referring to.
When i bought the hamster toilet, the scooper comes with it. Maybe you can go over to some pet stores, open up the box to check if that is the scooper you want.
What bird/s are you keeping? http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif

Wheeeeeeeee Pinkie!
ThanX so much for the wonderful idea - when I get a chance, I will certainly continue my search for the "pooper scooper" in The Hamster Department!
I'll be back to let you know what I find, just in case yours wears out or breaks!
Thanking you in advance!

Hi Pinkie!
Well, I'm back! Through my search for products, I did find the scoop you mentioned and it is only "included" in the starter kit, and I couldn't tell how "big/small" the grid holes were - but when I get to a store, you know I will check them out!
I was also able to "clean up" my most favorite pet sites, since some have been merged with others - so duplicate addresses were deleted and some don't even exist anymore!
Thank you again for your time!
