Okay were I live there is very small pet shop and im looking for a way to make money and I was wondering if there was a possibility that they would let me come in there 1 or 2 days a week and work (really cheaply) Im only like 13 but I have quite a bit of experience with pets especially rabbits and the moneys not for something stupid every bit I earn goes in my horse fund at the bank anyways I thought I should ask the opinion of other pet shop owners first just wondering what my chances were.

Any help would be aprecciated. :)

i dont know. i M 13 and would love to work in a shop, but pverhere u can only work for about 3 hours a day and need a special work permit. also theinsurence for the shop is very high so im wating for work experience

A place you could look at are vets.. they like to have ppl help clean sometimes, and animal shelters ( volunteering of course) But if you have some experience then it will be easier to get a job..so think about volunteering.

So how I see it is if Im old enough to voulenteer at place that has animals far more dangerous than a petshop then Im old enough to work for 2 or 3 hourse for a couple days a week at pet shop. (I should use that 1 for my parents)

Sometimes it is up to the workplace instead of ma and pa...
But if you have shown responsibility by volunteering then maybe you do not need to argue with them so much..they already know how responsible you are.

And yep I have 3 cats Whoops, Schmuck, and Butthead... The story is Whoops came home with me when I was not suppose to get him..so I said Whoops... hence his name.. then Schmuck well that is a naughty word in German and he was a mean kitty when I first got him.. biting and scratching and hissing.. But now he is all loveable.. And Butthead well she likes to butt heads sometimes so Butthead is her name.. But do not worry I love em all.
