I dont know if you found the answer to your question I came across on the chat room...
so just in case i,ll answer it for you.
you asked if it was ok to give the birds apricots with green bits (?).
I'm asumming you mean mouldy fruit.
Ideally you should give fresh and clean, but, I too give my birds fruit that has lay around the kitchen for a few days longer than it should...
rather than put this fruit in whole to let them pick away at it I tend to slice the moulded part off and offer the rest to the birds in slices.
