what is the best hamster bedding?

What is the best kind of hamster bedding to use? I got a hamster last week at the pet store. an they used aspen in her cage. would it be best to keep using aspen are should I use care fresh? any help Id appreciate.

How do you get the averts icon under the user names? I found them on this website but I can't get it to work thats why Im asking. Im new here also.

Either Aspen or Carefresh is fine to use. You could use a mix of Aspen or Carefresh if you want.
Click on the Avatar link at the top of the page to choose an avatar icon. You can also upload your own icon.

some web host doesn't allow external linking to image files from their server...

e.g. if you find a nice image from a homepage hosted with geocities... you can't link to that image because yahoo will block it. you'll have to find some free image/pic hosting sites such as webshot or imagestation and upload the images and use their links

You can upload a file from your computer. That's what I did. I uploaded an icon file from my computer to use as an avatar. You can just save an image to your computer and then upload it.

oops didn't know pethub allows upload from our own pc

so BlueSandpiper's way is a much easier and better way to go about using ur own avatar :D
