I am wondering what other toys which i can give to my dog to play with? Because he is so sick of his own toys that my dog refuses to play anymore. He becomes so lazy and restless. I got lots of toys for him, but now, he isn't the least interested with those toys. http://petshub.com/ubb/frown.gif

But i can't think of any interesting toys for him!

Can someone help?? What do you use to let your dog play? Suggestions are greatly welcome....

What kind of toys do you have for him now? I have two dogs at home and they have two bones (leg bone that was cut in half,) toy rope, rubber toy and two tennis balls. They get a rawhide once a week. When the tennis balls give out, they'll either receive two more tennis balls or two squeeky toys. They don't have to many choices in toys and there are special toys that they only can play with once or twice during the week. If they have to many toys to choose from, they don't play with any of them.

Hi,

I give my dog lots of soft toys, his raw hides and a ball.

It seems like he is kinda sick of his toys. I wanted to get some toys from the pet shops, but it seems like they are selling almost similiar things.

I was wondering, if i could get some toys that we can make ourselves or buy some unique toys that will amuse them?

I have run out of ideas on what to purchase for my dog. http://petshub.com/ubb/frown.gif

Please advise.

Have you ever purchased a wiggly giggly ball or bone? These toys make weird sounds, almost like a baby...almost. I had the large ball but my boxer didn't care for it, he never played with it (I don't think he could pick it up.) I gave it to a friend who has a lab and she said that Madison still plays with it and begs everyday for the ball(it's put up every night because of the noise.) I've been thinking of getting another one, the smaller ball or the bone for the dog's.

It's an unusual toy because of the noise and it's made out of hard rubber. I see it at the pet stores all the time. Good luck!

Thanks for your idea! I will go look around for the toy. Is there any name for it? Do you have a picture of the product?

Hear from you soon. http://petshub.com/ubb/wink.gif

The name of the product is Wiggly Giggly Ball or Wiggly Giggle Bone. It's neon green with other colors mixed in. You can't miss it!

Hi there,

A Wiggly giggly ball is a great answer. I am a manager of a large pet-store and we sell many of these balls. In addition to that, you may purchase a KONG. It is a tuff chewy toy. What I do for my dog is put a little peanut butter in the kong and it is very funny to watch and also very enteraining for the dog. Also, the oil from the peanut butter is great for there coat.

Good luck! http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif

My dog has three toys, a rubber bone, a real round steak bone and her sock, which is really two socks, one inside the other and tied. Her favorite is definitely the sock. Ever since I was a child (I'm now 67) my dogs have had a sock. Back then, there were no toys for dogs, and Mom would take an old pair of socks and fix them up for the dog. When we brought Halo home from the breeders, the first thing I did was make her a sock. I put it in her bed, and had very little crying while she was crated for the night. It's really best to use a pair that has been worn by a member of the family for the first one. The scent may have been enough to calm her during that difficult time when she was first separated from her litter mates. Now, periodically, I need to replace the sock and it doesn't seem to matter if we have worn them or not. She still sleeps with it. Our dog sitter even has one for her. How about that?

Hi, Joel.

The Kong is a perfect idea. They're practically indestructable and besides peanut butter, you can also put in small doggie treats as well. Keeps the dog entertained for a long time trying to figure how to get those goodies out. LOL

Our dogs in school love kongs.
you can put little treats in there and the dog has to try to get them out. They LOVE it!!
