Now whenever i try to pet her she thinks i am going to hurt her or something. she turns around and makes all this noise. is this because she is getting closer to pregnancy or she had her babies already and she is doing this in defence? there is this kleenex box in her cage and i can't see the end but she seems to like it a lot. so if she has them in there i won't know until they are old enough to see and walk around. what do you think she is doing. thanx for the help:D

she was acting like 2 days ago now. her atitude now is the same as her atitude a week ago. she is sweet again do you think she has had her babies already? maybe she was being protective because her babies were just born and now she has calmed down after she had them. has this ever happened to any of you? i would like to know if she had her babies but i don't want to look in the kleenex box if she will kill them if she thinks they are in danger. what should i do? HHHHHeeeeelllllpppp!!!!!!!:bawling:

ok don't look in the box leave her alone for a week and then the babys will be out. one thing though is that you realy shouldn't have bought her if you knew nothing about babys and pregno hammys:splat:

i do know about pregnant hammies. i had dwarf hamsters for over a year and she had at least 5 pregnancies. i just don't like things when they are so mysterious. and unknown it gives me a head ace trying to figure out what is best for my hammy.:agree:
