My hamster after she got pregnant was territorial and if you put your fingers on the sides of her belly she felt puffed up, she also built nests (like pushed all the bedding into a pile) and took all the food from her bowl and put it around the nest after she had the babies she only took some and put it in her cheeks and left some in the bowl. Try seaching on google or ask jeeves....

Ok because for a couple of days now, every time a would go and pet her, she would try and move out of the way as in saying dont touch me or something, but that never ever happend before.

How do you not know how long you have had her? If it was long enough ago that you forgot because it has been monthes, then I doubt she is pregnant because hammies have a rally short gestation period. I think like 16 days.

If she's indeed pregnant, the symptoms are (some of which as mentioned by the others above).. sleeping more, getting more territorial, building nest, storing of food near nest, bigger belly, chasing male away etc.
She's still have a good appetite. If your hamster doesn't seem to have anymore appetite, another possible reason is that she might not be feeling well.

Yeah, she probably isn't pregnant if you have had her a while and she's not eating.

I would still keep in mine that she could be pregnant because if she was housed with males well you know from there lol. Just keep in mind that if she keeps getting bigger and bigger and or she is really aggressive she may be. But if your taking her to the vet they can tell you.

Well she want housed with Males, they were separete, but I guess someone put a Male with her, but does the Prgnancy thing (16 days I guess) go for every hamster, because mine is Black, black fured?

Syrians have a gestation of about 16 days and I think dwarves are about 18-20 days. I would still take her to the vet if I were you, there might be something wrong.:)

Oh i thought you said they were housed together and your hamaster sounds like a black bear. Is it bigger i mean it isn't a dwarf? If you can get any pictures it might help...

lol she is a long haired syrian, really a picture from the top would help because we could see how wide she really is.. But in that one she doesn't look that big hamsters are chunky animals anyway, but it's always good to double check.
BTW- she's a cutie :o
