moon racers

anybody here have opr heard of a habitrail moonracer thing for ur hamster? its the thing were it looks sorta like a race car but it has a wheel inside so your hamster can run around in it..if you do can you tell me if your hamster likes it or not..bcuz im thinkin of buyin one for my hamster since she likes to run around all over the place...i already have a ball for her but she doesnt seem to noe how to use it..she just turns round n round in her ball!

CS has a Hamster Car and Trak, but she doesn't like it as much as her ball. I think it is because she has to push it harder to make it go. The moonracer is very similar to the car we have, so you might have the same problem. Saw a motorcycle on PETdiscounters.com that might work a little better because the hamster wheel part is in the front and they just drag the rest behind them. It was about $15.

o i c..hmm.. i have anoda question...wen i look at it.. can it actually turn? lol bcuz it looks straight and everything hehe o and my hamster runs really hard in her wheel so i dink she'll like the moon racer she's very strong lol sometyms i dink she mite run off with the wheel! hehe :D

You mean turn left to right? on the hamtrack, it turns- well, sort of bumps and glides around, but it doesn't steer.

CS actually liked her car a lot more before she had the ball but I think the ball is so easy, she got lazy about the car. Plus, I think it is because she can see all around in the ball and only up and down in the car. That's why I thought the motorcycle was neat because the wheel is in front and there's only a little behind it that the view is obstructed.

Also, though, I think she likes the ball because she chases the cats in it! She goes right for them every time and runs over their tails!! Even when I put the ball on the track, Hermione lies in the middle with her tail across the track for CS to run over! They are very good friends, though. Two of the times CS has gotten out of her cage, it was Hermione that found her- sat there and meowed for us to come get her- just sitting beside her. I have big clips on the doors of her cage now, though, so she can't get out anymore.

oo i c hehe left paw.. it must b really cute to c a hamster chase a cat!! hehe well i think ill give the moon racer a try or mayb ill get the motorcycle bcuz i saw it somewhere and i fogot whea...gotta refresh my memory hehe

Ozzie does the same thing to Emma ( my cat)!!!!!!!!!!! shell just be sitting in the sun and ozzie will run into her make a squek and run away! its a game he plays lol

my dogs live outside but so does one of my cats- george. they all sleep together when it's cold! so funny! the puppy picks on george, though and george puts up with a lot before he gets mad. george is a wierd cat, anyway. sometimes i think he can talk. he has different meows that sound like he's saying 'hello' :kitty2: and when you pick him up he always says 'no' and once he caught a fieldmouse outside and after that he walked around looking for more saying 'mouse'.

aw tant sounds soo cute! my cat- Emma follows around my dad( no 1 knows y) and dad says" Emma. u miss ur daddy?"and she answers him back. but she has a wierd meow to something like a meow! like shes trying to say somethimg. sometimes i think she says stuff like "daddy" or meat or butt( my dad says to her" u want me to kick ur scarwny kitty butt?" lol)
