Hello Friends,
I have a small pack of Friskies biscuit, with 4 flavors. My dog loves it. And it is very funny to see him trying to chew the biscuits, as his mouth is quite small. http://petshub.com/ubb/tongue.gif It is quite big for him. The biscuits are rather hard, but it really good for cleaning the teeth.
Maybe we can exchange some brands, and we can bring them to let our dogs eat too!
Just like to know what type of cookies or treats or snacks do you feed your dogs?

My toy poodle loves Charlee Bear egg and cheese treats. I buy them at Earl May. They are not hard, however, I only give them to her when we have come back in from the last potty break of the night. I usually give her 3 or 4. She can jump really high when she knows I am getting them out for her. She does the same when I open her HeartGuard. She loves that also. She eats dry dog food which is quite hard, so I figure the softer treats are OK once a day. I would prefer that she eat the Eukanuba lamb and rice food, but she prefers Kibbles and Bits. What kind of small fur baby do you have? My Halo weighs 3 lb. 8 oz. Aren't they fun to have around?

Hi Brown http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif
Because of Snowball's little weight problem, we switched from the Purina One Lamb & Rice biscuits to Quaker Rice Cakes. Of course, just like with kids, I couldn't figure out how to give Snowball rice cakes when Sweetie and Skateboard were enjoying Lamb & Rice biscuits, so all three get the rice cakes. LOL
I tried the peanut butter flavored ones, first. They liked them well enough. They're big and crunchy and tasty. One weekend at the store, they were out of that flavor, so I threw caution to the winds and picked up Banana Nut flavored rice cakes.
I opened the package up when I got home and all of a sudden I had three dogs circling me like sharks at a feeding frenzy. LOL I broke one in half, gave that half to Snowball and then broke the other half in two and gave them to Sweetie and Skateboard. I had to count my fingers to make sure they were all there.

Hello,
Lola, I have a chihuahua. A naughty boy. His name is Brownie.
May i know what is HeartGuard?
Heinz, I think you not only had to count your fingers, but also who has eaten and who hasn't. I think your biscuits must be really big and crunchy. LOL. You used to give Lamb & Rice biscuit. Does this biscuit has a strong smell of lamb? I wish to give the lamb & rice a try for Brownie. What do you suggest?
Yesterday, I just bought a new packet of Science Diet and another packet of biscuits, it is Pro Plan Dog Snack (Beef & Rice). I used to give my dog the same brand of biscuits too, but the flavour was Turkey. Brownie loves to eat Turkey. Given his size, he can still eat up to 4 or 5 pieces a day. LOL.
I want to share with you the Pro Plan biscuits. I think it is yummy from the way my dog eats it. Maybe you can try it too. http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hi, Brown http://petshub.com/ubb/smile.gif
It's funny you should ask if the lamb & rice biscuits have a strong smell of lamb. My answer is: If the smell were really strong, my Shetland Sheepdog, Sweetie would not eat it.
As the name implies, Shetland Sheepdogs or Shelties were bread to herd sheep on the Shetland Islands. The climate there is very rough. Cold, windy, wet. The inhabitants of the Shetland islands needed a hearty dog and an intelligent dog to help them guard and herd their sheep. A baby sheep is called a lamb, right? Well, one day my daughter and her husband were pan-frying some lamb chops and when they started cooking, Sweetie couldn't get far enough away from the kitchen. The smell literally made her VERY upset. We couldn't figure out what was going on. We had no idea it was the cooking lamb chops doing this to her. When we realized what was going on, my daughter cut a small piece for Sweetie to try....she wouldn't go near it.
I guess it must have had something to do with the inbred instinct of herding sheep that she couldn't do any harm....even if they were cooked. So if the lamb and rice biscuits were strong smelling, she wouldn't eat them. I've known her for 16 years.

Brown: HeartGuard is a heart worm medicine, but you wouldn't know it from the way my Halo chows it down. She thinks it's a treat. I give it to her once a month, year around. And when I get the knife out to cut it up for her, she goes CRAZY! Funny little critter, she is.
