hello i was just wondering.Do you like Critter trail cages or Habitrail cages more?
I like habitrail cages because they are sturdyer, cheaper, easier to clean, durible, more escape proof, more interesting, not as ugly.
But some people like cts more,w/e.Which do u like more.

None of those (including sams cage). They are all to small for any hamsters, which actually need alot more space than people think. Syrians are way to big for any of them, and dwarves are usually best housed in same sex pairs, so bigger is better.
I agree, bin cages are much better than those. You can see mine on the thread "I redecorated her cage..." (or something to that effect)

LOL, actually i think my Ct3 is pretty nice looking. I will say i dont like the fact that it isn't as nice as it could be. But Cooki loves it and i have added onto it.
It is also alot better then sticking her in a glass tank thinking she was a fish or something "thats worse air flow then a ct... But i connected a bin for her to play in also because i didn't think the Ct3 was enough room... *shakes head*.

Well actaully cts and habitrail have the same floor space witch is what really counts so..
My hamster Dash is perfectly fine is his 2 habitrails and tubes.

My new short haired syrian, Ham tzu, is in a wire cage it is about 1'1/2" deep, 1ft wide 1ft long it has two stories. I had Ham-bone in a bin before she escaped but I like the air flow that is afforded by a wire cage. There is vertical room which she takes advantage of. I like the wire cage more than a bin for now, but my new hamster is young and still very small. I will probably have to upgrade when she gets bigger but for now I think it works.

My dwarf hammie live in two habitrail minis and a space station...all conected by tubes of course. I think its enough room for her. I opted for the habitrail because I find them super easy to clean. But the main reason I chose them is because of their low profile. I can easily hide it in my dorm room which is important...because technically im not supposed to have her. But my life simply wouldnt be complete is i didnt have my stella :)
And i think she loves her cage...she scurries around minding her buisness and searching for hidden treats :)
Oh, and i also like the way they look :)

DON'T GET A CRITTER TRAIL!!!!! They're REALLY Crapy, and are the reason that my hamster is OUT of the cage!!!!!!!!!

I have several Critter Trails & one SAM cage. The few things I hate about CTs is the plastic cracks easily, takes longer to clean (take apart, dry & put back together) and the gravity water bottles suck. :yuck: They have to be filled all the way, otherwise they leak. And the opening is too small to get a bottle brush inside to clean.
I've started making my own bin cages for my mice. I'm working on making one for Skittles. I have one made for him, however after escaping the 1st one, its needs more work to be sure he can't get out of it. :ninja: :D

I myself like habitrail cages better. I have serveral crittertrail cages and I find them to be weak and not good for cleaning..basically they are a pain in my butt. Garage sale for them I say!

Bins are the best, no bout a doubt it:Dlol
I don't like HT or CT because they're expensive, hard to clean and they all look the same (i.e. all CT3s look the same all space stations look the same). Bins are inexpensive, you can customize them, and they are easy to clean. Yay bins!!!:Dlol
