sand bath for hammies

I bought my hammie chincilla sand and she is completly uninterested.
I thought hammies loved that stuff.
Im confused.
Anythoughts?

question didn you buy the sand or the dust? MAke sure you Bought the sand. And some love it and some dont lol. Cooki hops in and out. If she smells alittle or looks oily i sprinkle some on her and rub it all of soe times i have to blow lightly on her fur to get it all out. Then She looks and smells great.

yes i quadruple check to make sure i got the sand and not the dust (had to go to 4stores...how crazy is that?!?)
anyway...yeah...stella hops in an out as well...
I guess is she looks drity or smells ill try your trick :)

well not all hamsters like it,most lh syrians don't like it either because if any gets stuck in there fur then they will scratch and make the place irrtated and red.

I would think dwarfs would like it more because the burrow and things. But yes pretty much the same applies.
