aww thanx u guys..
my mare is SUCH a big fat cow.. but i love her
and my dog is so cute, my dad ran her over so she had a cast on her left hind leg for liek 3 months, and we had to walk her and stuff b/c she couldn't be in the barn for like 2 months, in case she got cow shit on her cast, so every time we would take her out, she would just dive into the snow, it was soo cute

um..Nevretoomany, the thing is, i try drawing my horses, and it looks like shit, b/c it doesn't turn out like them, so i just stick to drawing mostly picture i see in ads..
i wish i could draw portarits

and ooh.. i'm GONNA be a vet too, but i (hopefully) will be able to speacialize in cattle, (hopefully dairy, but i wll settle for beef)

oh aboout my animals.. hmmm..
well i ahve like a million cats, ok no more like 25, and they are like all knocked up, so i will have likek 50 cats soon, till the kittens die off
and my oma has rabbits, i don;t know how many, b/c i think she just butcherd some, before there were like 12
and i have a turtle, and um 3 budgies, and um.. some other stuff i can't remeber, oh ducks, i ahve dusck.. 3 all the tiem, and then their babies, that my oma is gonna eat soon.. :)

Well I think your drawings are very good.

Being of NO talent myself I have great respect for those with talent -- such as yourself.

As for those barn cats -- they should all be fixed. Having kittens and waiting for them to "die off" is cruel at best.

Please look into a local program that will help you fix your animals so they CAN"T have kittens.

I'm sure there are vets that will give you a discount.

If you are going to be a vet then you have to be a responsible animal owner, too.

it is too expenseive to fix all my cats, even tho our farm gets a discount from the vet on evreything, my dad would never go for it, and i've learned to live with it. plus i love the kittens, thye are soo cute..
and i don't wait for them to die off, our cats have distemper, so weak kittens die.. the strong survive and procreate..

and if i see a kitten suffering unduly, i cry until my dad or opa shoots it to shut me up

and see i could NEVER be a small animal vet.. b/c i would tell ppl, to just kill their petsffi they were really sick, i dont see the point in wasting money on them, i love my pets, but since i was really little, if a cat or dog was sick,(or it aws stupid and we didn't like it) it died(ie my dad shot it,).. and we would get a new one, my best freind was a cat, and he died just over a year ago, and yeah it hurts, but it is life,

that is why i want to to catlle, b/c thye mean somehing, they are someone's lively hood. i would do anything to save a cow, where's i would just tell someone to shoot there dog..

In order to be a vet you need to have respect for all things great and small. Fostering overpopulation in any way is not responsible as an animal owner. Just because your parents tell you its too expensive doesnt mean to stop trying, call local vets, call a spay and neuter clinic to tell them of your plight! People are out there to help but you have to take that first step and do something for yourself to get your animals treated properly and cared for.
You cant just live in your own little world and assume that only your cats will have the distemper, if you live anywhere near other animals and people your cats are infecting other owners cats too.

Also, they do not need to be neutered all at once, get them done as you get the money. Or call around for low cost neuter clinics, sometimes, places do them for free.

If you can not take responsibility and spay and neuter your pets and get them their shots, you should not even have pets. In my opinion, you should re- home all your cats or hand them over to a shelter and never get anymore.

If I lived near you, I would be rounding them up to take them somewhere myself, and I would call animal control because of you killing them. You know that IS against the law in most states and canada?
You should not let animals suffer or even kill them because of YOUR ignorance.

How can you be a vet, you have no respect for animals. I don't think you should own any animals, I am sorry but if you think cats should be shoot because they are sick, that is wrong bring them to a vet, and if you can't afford a vet why have cats and dogs? And I see dogs and cats just as inmportant as cattle. They are help people in many aspects of life and make people happy, all catte do is feed people. Ok miss tainted. First of all if you cannot afford to take these animals to a vet you should not own them. You obviously do not have any regard for the life of some of these animals. You are cruel and sick. It is people like you that causes euthanization of animals in shelters and shelters to be overrun with animals. You have cats that are not fixed and if your animals are sick you shoot them? Hello? Wake up? There is something called a veterinarian and I hope to God that you never become one. What are you going to do if someone brings in their animal that is sick and they actuallly care about their animals unlike you, what are you going to telll them to go out and kill it. I think if you do not have respect for animal you need leave this forum. I knew this was going to turn out this way as soon as I read your first post. You are angering people on this forum who care about animals and try to protect them. They try to protect them from people like you! First off you killing of your animals is neglect, cruelty to animals and in most states this is prosecutable. I hope someone around you finds out about this and takes these animals away from you. You have no right owning any animal and there is no way you will ever become a vet with an attitude like yours. Animals are living creatures and should not be treated the way you and your family do! and if an animal is sick, having my dad shoot it is million times better then letting it suffer, it is not diffrent then euthanizing them b/c my dad kills them with the first shot

plus if my cats were given to a shelter they would all be put down.. so where is the diffrence, no one would take them.. i don't even like most of them

and the only way to get rid of the distemper in my barn would be to kill them all, and burn down the barns.. i don't think my dad would go for it..

and i bet u can talk to any farmer and they would feel the same way, u have diffrent values, and u know diffrent. things growing up on a farm.. u could never understand..
we raise the steers we butcher for food, i get to feed hte one we are growing out now, and i hopefuyl (*crosses fingers*) will get to help butcher him.. it is soo fun.. *yay*

sadly i'm a wuss and i've only killed 2 cats.. the first one by accident, i smashed it into the wall b/c it was eating my kitten, and it died.. but it was really sick..
the other one wasa kitten that one of the stray had started eating, so i just smashed it into the concrete..and broke its little neck


and i'm GONIG to be a vet whether u want me to or not..
i'm going to work with cows, b/c i think they count..
the most beautiful thing i have every seen is a calf being born, and i can see it every week if i want.. i feel so privalged to be able to experience it, and if a calf is sick, it hurts me.. b/c no body loves them.. ever.. only god..and some ppl don't even believe he loves them..

Just some info on me I did grow up on a farm and my father had all our barn cats fixed. They were checked by the vet once a year and kept up to date on shots. I dont believe in having domesticated animals outside but when you live on a farm there is usually barn cats. But my cats were up to date on their shots and checked by vets if you would have done this your cats wouldnt have distemper. My parents did have farm animals, dogs and cats and every single one of those animals was seen by a vet. If you are going to have animals it is the owners responsibility to take care of them whether you live on a farm in the country or an apartment in the city. All our cats and dogs were fixed to avoid unwanted breeding. So as far as growing up differently, hunny we didnt grow up differently at all. It is just the difference between taking care of animals and not!

I was just wondring what do you do with these animals when you kill them, and how could you kill your own kitten? I am just wondring, because it would be hard for me to bash a kittens head in to kill it, and I live with farmers in my hometown and love cattle, and they treat there pets...cats dogs etc...like family member because that is what they are. Also if you would love to live in a barn, then do so.
I don't want to be mean, I am just wondring, because you were brought up in a different way then I was, but if you want a puppy, like you said you were gonna breed you cute puppy, you should think about adoption. You could be saveing a life.
And all the cats. Maybe you should bring them in to a vet, or just say neuter the males, or have the vet that comes twice a week check them out. It would be really bad for them to suffer, and it looks they are.
All I am asking is to see all animals as liveing breathing souls, would you want to be in the same posstion as any your cats? Animals are't just animals.

One other thing I love every type of animal from cats to cows from exotics and reptiles to sheeps and horses and dogs. Everyone of them I just dont understand how you can supposedly love cows and horses so much and then throw a cat up against a wall and not care. That is inhumane. You need to love them all they all have a place in God's world and they need to have love and a place in yours.

If the moderators see it as a problem they will eventually ban her. If you'll look at the bottom of each post you can see the "report to moderator" post and they'll check it out. Just leave it in their capable hands and keep complaining, light will come out of the clouds eventually!

well we throiw them in the lagoon, or in the wood stove..

Yes I would end its, but I would end its life humanely, i.e euthenasia, by a veteranarian. And then I would learn from my lesson and have my cat fixed ASAP.
However I would never need to do that because I take resonsibilty for EVERY animal on my property, even if it is a stray and get it neutered.

If all your cats were properly vaccinated from rabies and distemper you probably wouldnt find the kittens eaten half alive. And you wouldnt have to deal with the "kitten" part of it if your cats were fixed too.

I mean, the only way that I would EVER SHOOT an animal is if is had rabies( wich all of my anilmas are vaccinated for that) or if it was born deformed or it was suffering so, so , so badly that it wasn't going to make it. And I have to admit, I have had to shoot a dog before. My aunt accidently ran over it and it was in so much pain... I called the vet to come out here and put it down, but he wouldn't come, so I took care of it. The dog definalty wasn't going to live. I told my vet what it was doing and how she was acting and everything. Vet said, no, she wasn't going to make and to just put her down myself. But anyway, YAY tainted is banned forever!!!!!
