Wow- I was searching a website and someone stated that their hamster liked to explore in his 'hamster harness'
Theres hamster harnesses? Have you ever heard of such a thing? I know that theres harnesses and stuff for rats, cavies, rabbits, ferrets, etc, but I didnt know that you could fit anything around a hamster's delicate body?! So I went to google and looked up 'hamster harness' in images, and sure enough theres hamsters on leashes, lol

But since they love to explore, dont you think they'd like it?

I wouldnt want to spend 10+ minutes everyday trying to shove this tiny delicate hamster into a harness!!!! Thats why they sell clear plastic balls for you to put them in and leave them in a closed room for 30 minutes. I have one of those balls for my mice that has a stand that you attach it to and you can leave in the cage. Im sure its not comfortable on the hamster if you put him in that harness.

Yeah, I wouldnt think so, because they have such delicate bones and odd ways of moving

I also dont like thoes balls, though, no offence. I'd hate being trapped in something that I couldnt see clearly out of! But thats just me

Yeah, if you want to see more on the harness issue Pink, there is a thread that was started a little while ago, it's still on the first page of threads, I think it's called "Hamster T-Shirts?" or something like that.:)

Personally I don't agree with harnesses.
