Yeah, like I posted in other threads, try to avaid selling cedar bedding, pedigree dog food, whiskas cat food or any type of hedgehog food. They are not very good, and having them in stock just tempts people that don't know they are bad to buy them. Also, u don't have to not sell any animals. You could at least have some fish. Of course, you do what u want, just a suggestion.

Chicken soup for the pet lovers soul and royal canin are 2 very good dog and cat food suppliers. Very good quality. Nutro is also a good dog + cat food brand. As for hedgehogs there is one sort of decent but hard to find brand that's called Spikes Delight.

pet edge is the best for grooming supplies (Andis products are the best for beginners, but their ceramic blades suck!!!)...oh and try not to sell gp food with millet or other small not chewable seeds please...rodent lab blocks (may not be pretty but the most balanced staple diet)...and i agree Nutro is a great thing to carry...oh and you could atleast carry feeder foods, such as crickets, mealworms, nightcrawlers, frozen fish foods and mice on ice...oh and lots of good books so you can help people learn how to properly care for the animals they already have...wheew if you need any more ideas...i'm sure i'll be back on later!

Yes,I agree, you should at least carry feeder animals. Small goldfish and minows are good aquatic feeders. Maybe you could also carry some plants to decorate tanks.

No pine bedding either ugh! (how many little furries did I loose before that was widely known!!!)
Totally agree with the lab blocks, great things lab blocks! Otherwise the mixes...they just eat the yummies ...some mixes are all yummies and nothing more = unhealthy short lived furry.
Just Say NO to any thing Marshalls if your selling stuff for ferrets. (If you need info on good food for them come check out the ferret forum we have a couple threads going on the best food for them.)
oh and for toys...no roll around balls...I think this is fine for the mice and hamsters but, for fuzzy bigger, it's really bad for them.
