Does anyone use any of these? I have a salt lick and a gnawing stone but my hammy really does not seem to care for them. Should I just take them out or keep em in?

I think you should take them out. I bought my hamsters each a salt lick, and all they did the day I got it was sniff it once and left it alone, like they couldnt care less.

I've heard that hamsters don't need or use salt licks because they get enough sodium in their diet. Animals such as rabbits or guinea pigs would be a better bet to use it on, sense they eat mainly just veggies and hay.

i have a mineral stone that my hammy likes to use...im getting salt licks ...if animals dont need salt they wont bother using them (elephants etc) so i guess its no harm to have a salt lick in there!

I'm thinking I might as well keep both in there just in case.
