Embarrassed... ...

Hello friends,

Want to share with all of you this embarrassing moment of mine.

I brought my dog, Brownie for a stroll and was heading home. Just then i saw my neighbours' daughters playing, and i said Hi to them and patted on their heads. Then i was continued to walk home. At this moment, one of the daughters said "Bye bye... " and i immediately turned my head and said "Bye..." too. But the daughter had not finished her sentences and continued "...dog."

Oh no, she said Bye to Brownie. I was in total embarrassment and walked off quickly. http://petshub.com/ubb/redface.gif

Maybe not embarrassing, but we have three small children who live across the street from us, and when I am out walking or in the yard, they always yell "Hi, Halo," never Hi Lola. I know they know my name. It's just kids relating more to the animal than to us.

OMG, my most embarressed moment was several years ago. On the K-9 unit, we had regular Morning Line-up inspections, Sgt,Lt & other brass would walk by and review each Officer & K-9. Sometimes just stopping and looking you and your K-9 over, others asking you Questions about duty,codes etc, or asking to see your weapon or your K-9 respond to a command.One am I was at the end of the inspection line( goes by hieght, Im 5'3"),my Sgt had just passed me and fell into line next to me and my K-9 "JASON". I felt a slight movement from my dog and then heard a "Whizzing sound", My god i wanted to turn my head and look, but we are not allowed to move while at ATTENTION, so I ever so slighty rolled my eyes to my left and sure enough, JASON was peeing on the SGTs leg. Can you Imangine the response!!!I tried not to laugh but noise's came out anyways, by then all the other Officers had figuered out what was going on and they to were making stiffeling laughing noises, i know my face was red, I could feel it and my body was shaking with internal laughter. It was truely a Kodak monent. Oh, the look the Sgt gave me, was to die for. After JASON finished "relieving" himself on the Sgt, he merely sat back into a heel position, as regal as could be. OMG what a scene, needless to say I DID pay for that incident for a WHOLE week.
