I'm going to be getting a hew hammie from the shelter I volunteer at, it's a long haired Syrian it's cream panda colored. I put in my application tomorrow. Talk about a cute little thing. I'm not sure if it's a male or a female yet, but I couldn't help myself from asking about if I could adopt it. It will come w/it's cage and food, the cage is a glas aquarium, it will be replaced in a few weeks. I just wanted to share.

im glad your adoptin instead of buying hamsters from pet shops! you just saved a hamsters life by adopting it n its great that your volunteering at a shelter! :D

im goin to get an applicatoin for volunteer work in a couple of days for an animal shelter too! i am looking forward to helpin the animals n the shelter!

Thank you everyone for the kind words. Babeiliscious (spelling, sorry), that is great that you want to volunteer it's so much fun and you go hame knowing that you are helping out the staff members there, without you the shelter could not be ran the way it is.

im gonna volentire at the local shelter in the summer. i cant wait! a few of my freinds are gonna too!:D

its great ur gettin other people to help out the shelters too! the more people the better who knows mayb some ofthe animals will get adopted by ur friends! good luck!

only 2 ppl actaully agreed to go. teh rest i just nagged until they said yes. lol:D

in my opinion every one should do more comunity severice, not just at shelers put working with the elderly and with homeless ppl too. there are so many unfortunate ppl, and animals out there
