I got 2 new gerbils!

Hi everyone I got 2 new beautiful gerbils yesterday one is white like my other one and the other is light brown with a white diamond on his head. I put the divider so the new ones and the old one could get use each others smell so all day long they were side by side smelling each other then today I come in and one of them had chewed through the divider and they all three were curled up asleep together so I think its safe to leave them together. I have seen them off and on through out the day cleaning each other so I think they are happy.

You're lucky that happened the way it did. Gerbils aren't always so loving on their first introduction. You could've ended up with 2 (if not 3) dead gerbils. I'm glad they're getting along, and all is well. But for future reference, you need to have a sturdy and reliable divider. You never want to wake up to your gerbils fighting, or dead because they got through the divider, knowing you could've prevented it.

Anyhow, congrats on the new gerbils, and I ,too, can't wait to see pics! :D

Thanks everyone. I will get pictures as soon as I remember to bring the camera from home. I have them here at my office with me and the camera is at home. And I know I need a good divider the one I bought was suspose to be for divideing them but he chewed though one corner and got through.
