Here is something I have been considering. . .
I want to possibly open a 'pet store' in the near future. My husband claims if I do want to own a business, that means we cannot have children because we won't have time. Is this necessarily true? Also, my pet store wouldn't have animals 'for sale', I would allow the animal rescues in my area to rent space from me at a very decent price to have their adoptables in my store. Is this a good idea?

Well for some people having and raising a child and owning a buisness could be too much for them.

For others it wont be a problem at all.

I am currently 6 months preggers and could not fanthom trying to run a buisness at the moment. I can barly run my house.

You can do it if you really put an effort to it. Remember it's a lot of money to have a child. If your in your own buisness and not insured that will be tough.

It does pose a lot of things to have to think about. It may be too much for him as well. Just try and talk it through. Find other buisness owner moms and see how they made it and if their hubbys were helping or not and such.
