Ok I am currently feeding my cat Wellness dry food.
The only thing is that I have to drive like 45 minutes to get it so I figured I would call around and see if anyone closer sold Wellness cat food or Innova dog food. ( I found a store closer that sells the dog food) I talked to one guy that told me he only sold Diamond pet food products and said he had never heard of Innova or Wellness foods, and then tried to convert me over to Diamond food for both my pets.
My question is, is Diamond food any good because I have never heard of it and should I just suck it up and drive the 45 minutes to get the wellness cat food or is Diamond dog and cat food better than Innova and Wellness brands?

I have never heard of Diamond before. I wouldn't give my cat a brand I never heard of and knew nothing about.

If Wellness or Innova has a web page (might be listed on the package), check to see if they have a list of stores. That may be more helpful in finding a place.

I don't blame you for not wanting to drive the 45 minutes, especially with the current gas prices. Unless you find another place nearby that sells Wellness, I would keep going to the current place, and maybe buying more so you don't have to go there as often.

Yeah, I went to the Innova website and found that place I go to now and I had a very difficult time with the Wellness page. The lady at the store I went to to get the dog food actually recommended the wellness for the cat. I will buy more Wellness this time. The only reason I didnt last time was because I had just decided to switch my cat over and so the lady gave me like 20 packs of different types of the wellness food to see which one my kitty would eat. I figured out which kind she likes so I think I will buy a few bags for her since it lasts so long and Ill prolly get a few things of treats and dog food as well.

Thanks for your reply =)

I wouldn't use it, corn is the 2nd ingredient in the food, Wellness if far superior.

Ok I wasnt going to switch over without seeing if anyone else knew anything about it. Seeing as how corn is the second ingredient I will be driving the 45 minutes to get the food my pets are eating now =)

if you dont want to drive so far, have you considered ordering the food online? i order by the month. s&h is about 7.99.

considering gas prices.. thats not too bad.

Diamond bites. I'm sorry, it's full of preservatives, and by meat products.

I personally would suck it up and buy wellness in bulk, or continue looking for a good alternative dog food.

natural balance(usually in petco's only)

maximum (only at wal-mart)

Well I definatly plan on sticking with the Wellness cat food now. I was just wondering if the diamond stuff was any good because this guy on the phone tried talking me into switching over from Wellness and Innova. I figured I would come here and see if anyone knew anything about this Diamond stuff. I didnt manage to find a closer store for the cat food so Ill just continue to go there. I kinda want to help support this lil pet store by buying from there rather than online so I think I will just continue getting the foods from there. Ill just start buying more at a time. Thanks for all your replies to my question tho =)
