I am posting for a friend who wants to adopt a Boxer puppy. No older than a year. No training necessary. She is willing to travel as far as maybe NJ.

Have your friend check out the NH Craig List, the Boston Craig List and petfinder.org - not only does petfinder have listings for rescue groups and shelters, but they also have a classified section for privately available dogs by state.

Your freind would be in a much better position if she adopted from a shelter or rescue.

I have been looking in all of those directions and have not found what she is looking for yet. She wants a Boxer. Not a mix. And she doesnt want to pay hundreds of $ for it. I have told her that she is expecting too much and that if she wants a specific breed than she will have to pay for it but she asked me to post anyway. Thanks for your help though.

Maybe if you tell her she will get what she pays for.... meaning that if she goes to a cheap boxer breeder she is going to most likley get a dog that will need lots of care and vet bills later. She can pay now - or pay later and possibly have serious heartache.
Boxers can have many health problems that the breeder needs to be aware of and breed away from. This is more then a vet check saying it's a healthy dog.
Maybe you can show her some of these links and information.
Good luck, thanks for trying to help her.
