I am totally in love with all my little animals, and so I kiss their noses or the tops of their head before I put them back in their cage/tank or sometimes when I get them out. Last night I went in the room with the most little animals, filled a couple water bottles that needed to be filled.

I woke up Snowbell (by accident) when I moved her cage over to get to a different cage and she came walking out of her house all wobbly because she had just woken up. I laughed and asked her if she was drunk as she wobbled over to the door, and leaned over to kiss her nose and she bit my lip!

She didn't bite hard enough to make me bleed or even leave a mark (thank God, that would be embarrassing to explain to non-animal lovers who would think I was crazy) I was so shocked. As soon as she bit me she turned around and went back into her house. And back to sleep as if to be like that's what you get for waking me up! Needless to say, I definately will not be kissing her nose anymore, at least not right after she wakes up.

She was either upset because of the drunk comment or because I woke her up, but I still think it was rude of her to bite my lip. Lol.

Haha. Funny. She was probably grumpy because you woke her up.

Rocky, my little black campbell's dwarf will literally sprint out from her trundle bed all the way from the other end of the cage (it's a 24" long cage) just to bite me if I put my hand in there and then go back to sleep like nothing happened.

We have 2 other dwarfies in there with her and they're both the friendliest little hammies ever. Except for Rocky!

That was a dwarf?? I would never kiss one without being sure they are wide awake! All the others yes, but not the dwarfs! :D

I have kissed her nose a million times before. I admit, she probably was more awake the other times, but I have kissed her nose right after taking her out before and she usually just kind of looks at me like, "was that really necessary?" But she is such a cutie.

lol funny and cute story. I kiss all my animals too. I just cant help it they are just so gosh darn cute lol. My hamster dominic gives kisses back its so cute. I went to kiss him and he put his mouth on my lips and licked. I was so surprised that he did that and when i have him out he licks my fingers. He doesnt usually get mad when i wake him up to much lol. He doesnt run just stays in my house andi put my finger in and he hits me lol. And he will keep doing that till i stop or he comes out and lets me pick him up lol. Dominic is a little character sometimes, but so adorable!!

I only kiss my hamster on her back. Never do I kiss her on the nose (I am always afraid of her biting). Sorry that you got bitten Jiffykat! lol it is a funny story though!

I wouldn't have minded so much had you guys actually written more than one line in each post, and not added three pages of one line posts to my thread making it way longer than it should be. You two are using the forums as a chat room. I thought you two were going to aim eachother or something.
