Ok, so the other day I was feeding my fish and taking care of the tank, and I noticed a small clump of small milky white balls. The clump is strung between two branches of a plant. There's a stringy white substance (almost like a spiders web) holding the eggs to the plant. This clump is located towards the bottom of the plant. I also noticed a smiliar clump near the top of the plant. I can see a small dark spec in each ball.

The only things I have in my tank are snails (1 ramshorn and 2 golden mystery snails) and goldfish (orandas and 1 fantail).

Can anyone help me? My local fish store couln't seem to.

Hmmm, I'm not too sure. Could you post a pic? Most snails lay eggs in patches. They'll hatch soon and within a few days you can see the tiny snails inside the dots. They're probably mystery snail eggs. I guess you'll have to wait and see. Good luck :D.

I doubt the goldfish would have mated in such a small space, but how old are they?
