Is this ok?

I went to buy hamster food yesterday and I accidently picked up mouse and rat food. Will it hurt him or make him sick? Will it be ok if I take the stuff out that doesn't look right? (If there is any)c :shocked:

Im not sure about that, but i heard is ok if they are the same mix :)

The only thing I would worrie about is the sudden diet change. Rat food is pretty similar to hamster food but changing different mixes should always be done gradually.

hi,
hamster food contains more protein.. thats why it cant be fed to rats and i avoid feeding it to mice (it makes their poop really stinky lol)
