My new GS female Star is 4-months old and too skinny. She was the second smallest in the litter (10 pups) asides from the runt and had to compete with all her big brothers and parents for food the first 3 months of her life. She's not so skinny that it's unhealthy, but I'd just like to fatten her up.

Does anyone know of a good puppy food that's great for weight-gain? Thanks ^_^

Did a vet say she's too small or are you saying she's too small?

if the vet is saying she needs more weight try adding like 1/4 more food to her meals or some wet food, but if the vet says her weight is fine i wouldn't worry.

I agree double check with the vet about whether she needs to put weight on. Our pup kept having diahhorea and didn't gain weight as quick as she should but she caught up once we changed food. They find a way of getting to the size they should. I wouldn't worry too much as you don't want her to put too much weight on now as she could end up over weight.
