I already put this on the rescue section but I don't know how much traffic they get there and this is rather urgent so here it goes.

This weekend I'm getting over 20 something rats from a lady who was going to "set them free" in the wild. They're all PEWs (pink eyes whites), 10 adult males, 9-10 adult females, and some young ones. I've found foster homes for the young ones and foever homes for 4 of the females, but there are still many many more. I don't have the room or the time to take in all of them, as some of them are undersocialized I was told, and would need some time and patience to come around.

I'm looking for foster homes or forever homes for these guys. I'm in Rochester, NY and I'll be picking them up from Long Island, NY this Sunday and dropping off a few of them in New Brunswick, NJ. If you can find it in your heart to help some of these guys and give them a second chance at life, they'll greatly appreciate it.

I can travel to Buffalo, Syracuse area, and maybe even as far as Erie PA. You can read about my adoption rules on my website, and email me for any questions. I'll try to put up more info on them on my website soon. Thank you.

Thanks for the offer but unfortunately this rescue did not work out. The lady would not give me enough information and things were getting so fishy towards the end I didn't know what was what. I can only hope that she hasn't done anything foolish with these rats, I have tried having other people contact her too in effort to help but it hasn't been sucessful...

I'm sorry to hear that an I will contact her and try to find out what's going on. Thanks for trying though, and I'll let you know what transpires.
