October 30, 2005.
Our circumstances have change, and we must, relectantly, find new homes for our 4 sugar gliders. We have the parents and 2 young ones. All are often handled, carefully raised, and very sweet. The original male is 5 years old, a large sugar glider, very mellow, sleeps late; his female partner is 1 year old, a medium sized female, gets up as soon as the sun goes down, and is very active. 1 baby (male) was out of pouch the second week of June, the second baby (female) was out of pouch 2 weeks ago. We cannot accommodate all these sugar gliders in our cage and cannot expand to a larger one. The parents must stay together. I am going to find out if it's all right for sister and brother to mate. If so or if not if you want to neuter the male, I would like them to stay together. The cage can go with either pair as needed. We are in Shaker Heights, OH, and would be happy to drive a reasonable distance to meet someone. If you are interested, please email me with information about youself, your experience with sugar gliders, your other pets, and an indication of how much time you could spend socializing with the sugar gliders and letting them out of the cage to exercise and play. I hope that someone is interested. If you want to include your phone number with your email, I will call you, if you like. ann1066@wowway.com
