Playful Hedgeamahog

Me again! How do you all get your hedgies to be so playful? Hazel chased a ball once, but that was only cos I stuck a mealworm in the middle of if! She had a little piece of tunnel, but she only slept in it! I'd like to buy her those long tubes, but I don't know that she wouldn't just sit in those too! Can anyone tell me how to bring out the playful beast in my little beast?

I really never thought hedgies could be playful. I just like =them cuz they are cute.

Some hedgehogs will be really playful with you, others will prefer to spend time exploring on their own rather than spending it with you. It all just depends on your hedgehog's personality.

My recommendation would be to spend as much time with your hedgehog as hewants to spend with you. Get to know his personality.

Hedgehog's vary so greatly in their likes and dislikes. The only method to see if they like toys, or if they like to do things, is through trial and error.
