Want sugar glider in LA,MS,FL,AL,TH or nearby

I would like to get a sugar glider in Jan. or Feb.. My family has been wanting one.We have raised many animals.We would like a male that can breed or a pair.We are getting a female but first we have to see if we really want one and can take carry of it.We are getting two because we can probaly only spent 2 hours a day with the sugar gliders.We have done research for about 2 months. Your planning to breed them and only read on these suggies for 2 month i read for over 2 years before i owned my first suggies and now its 2 years and im barely starting to breed. What diet have you heard of being good for them? Lol, really. Research, research, research.

I really hate that sugaregliders are becoming popular. People just see them as something new and cool or something to make money off of.

Not that I'm talking about you, Sugar glider9562, you may have good intentions.

If you really think that you would like to own and breed sugar gliders, I would suggest owning them for at least a year before breeding.

Why? So you can see all the work that you have to put into them. So you could see, while they are the cutest thing ever, they don't make a great pet for everybody and are alot of work everyday.

Also, if you think that the sugarglider is a wonderful animal, maybe you could get into being a rescuer instead of a breeder. There are already tons of gliders who need homes, we don't really need too many more being bred.

You do need to read and research. You have to be ready for anything with gliders, they hide illness very well sometimes untill it is too late to help. You said you are getting a female to soo if you really want one.....you should know if you really want one before you get a glider, they are not a type of animal you can just pass off or ignore if you dont want it, they are very prone to stress. I dont understand why anyone would get an animal if they arent sure they really want one :( .... PLEASE think twice about breeding them.

OK I have a brother and a sister who use this computer and this login in name but now only one person is using it(youngest brother)my brother has a sugar glider and a baby on the way but he moved away and he has his on name.I am getting one sugar glider for chirstmas.
