Well, after reading the "paw licking and biting" post ...I finaly found out what is wrong with my dog...food allergies. my vet has always thought we should do tests..for seasonal allergies...i was alway sure it was food related..not seasonal....

so anyway.....i did some research about all of the foods from the paw licking and biting post and finally decided on dr fosters and smiths...wellness formula. I got the one that is whitefish and sweet potato. I also got him the treats...he loves them!

in just one week i can see a marked difference in my dogs symptoms. he seems to be happier. I did make the mistake of changing too quickly so he has had a bit of diarreah.
but his eyes are not red, his nose is not drippy, his bum is less itchy and he is not chewing on his feet anymore!

I am so happy!:D

That's great! My Tia has food allergies, and it was such a relief to finally figure that out and see her start feeling better! I'm so happy for you!!

Yay, I'm glad you sorted out your dogs problem.

Food allergies are so much more common in dogs than people realise. Our Jess couldn't touch any kind of meat when she was younger, not even chicken without getting the severe runs. She ok with it now she's older.:angel4:

You should consider/research Prescription Diet Z/D ULTRA. My mother swears by it for her highly allergic Shih Tzu. A little pricey, but works WONDERS!

We had to change Charlie onto Hypoaallergenic James Wellbeloved food cos of diahhroea every month and she is great on it now. Food allergies ARE far more common than most people reaslise. Many dogs are allergic to beef and pork which surprised me.
