I'm wondering if my husky/shepard Sadie could maybe be depressed. My neighbor and his dogs would come over and visit and play with her and she loved their company. Well, my neighbor moved a few weeks ago and ever since then Sadie hasn't really been herself. She's still eating and enjoys playtime but lately she seems really bummed out. When she goes outside she'll sit and stare at the house where my neighbor used to live. Is there anything I can do to help her or will she get over it on her own?

Hmmm.... I think you can help your poor dog by finding her some new friends she can play with!
She seems to miss all that fun she had with your neighbour's dogs, you know.
She just misses company...
dogs do have feelings, check out this picture of a very sad dog...

they too get attached and hate to "say" goodbye !!!
so show your dog you will do all possible her not to feel alone,
no matter how strange that might sound !
hope my advice helps you :)

Maybe you could enroll her in doggie daycare or get a membership to a dog park where she could be around other dogs to play and make friends. She just misses her buddies.
